Mama Badilisha Reloaded indeed!
It was all pomp and color this weekend as Honorable Ndile reclaimed her glory in her backyard, Kitui West, by bringing out her “Wamama na Essie” women groups to welcome the Deputy President and senior government leaders as they brought the Women Economic Empowerment initiative to the local community.
Hon. Esther Kalunda Ndile, popularly known as Mama Badilisha former Member of County Assembly (Nominated MCA, Mutonguni) and a strong contender for the 2027 Kitui County Women Representative seat, represented by her team at Kwa Mutonga Primary School for the transformative event graced by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
The gathering attracted hundreds of women and youth from the Kitui West constituency, all eager to engage with national leaders committed to uplifting women through targeted empowerment programs.
Wakili Mueni Ndile, daughter of Mama Badilisha, represented the Ndile family at the event and delivered substantial financial support on her behalf. She also conveyed greetings and support from her sister, Ambassador Lynette Mwende Ndile, highlighting the family’s continued commitment to championing women’s and youth empowerment initiatives in Kitui County and beyond.
Deputy President Kindiki commended the efforts by Hon. Esther Kalunda Ndile and her team Wamama na Essie, noting that empowering women remains a key pillar of the government’s agenda. He reaffirmed the government’s focus on building infrastructure, expanding last-mile electricity, and supporting grassroots women’s groups to help uplift businesses and households.
Mama Badilisha’s team pledged to continue working with both national and county governments to ensure more resources reach women at the grassroots, fostering economic growth, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods across Kitui County.
