Hon Mark Kitute Ndingo has strongly condemned the banditry attack at Kwa Kamari in Tseikuru that left seven people dead, terming the incident a brutal and senseless act of violence against innocent residents.
Speaking exclusively with our reporter the Kwa Vonza MCA also decried a separate incident in Nguni Ward where a student was killed, warning that the rising insecurity in Kitui County’s border areas is deeply alarming and requires urgent government intervention.
Ndingo called on the national government to ensure that those behind the attacks are apprehended and prosecuted, insisting that the culprits must face the full force of the law. He further urged the government to compensate families that lost their loved ones and support those affected by the attacks.
The MCA also appealed for the immediate deployment of police officers to newly constructed stations built by the Kitui County Government, saying their operationalization would enhance security and restore peace and order in the volatile border regions.
