The remains of Joyce Munanye, a 16 year old who was allegedly killed and body mutilated by her husband in Huruma two weeks ago has been buried in Mwingi central, Kitui county.
In an emotional send off which took place around 8pm on Thursday, the family spokes person, Musya Langi said it is a big blow to both families who are immediate neighbors .
He disclosed the two had been married for only three months before the unheard of story happened.
John Wambua, the husband of the deceased was arrested carting body parts of his wife in a bag pack two week ago in Huruma where he agreed to have killed her and led police officers to his house where other body parts were under the bed.
The family now wants the court court to allow the clan settle the matter off court stating it is already a blow losing the young girl girl and that him being jailed following the offense will be a double blow to the community.
