Hon. Charity Musyoka, the representative of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the Kitui County Assembly and a NARC nominated MCA, has once again demonstrated her compassion through the Charity Musyoka Foundation by coming to the aid of a needy young mother from Kyangwithya East Ward.

The beneficiary, Martha Kavutha, a single young mother and orphan, is raising a baby girl living with albinism, Shirlyen Mueni, who lacked the essential protective items required for her condition. Upon receiving the case, Hon. Musyoka promptly responded by providing the child with vital safety items, including a hat, lip balm, and sunscreen lotion — all crucial for her protection from harmful sun rays.

In addition, the Charity Musyoka Foundation donated funds to enable Martha to purchase milk for her baby for an entire month, a gesture that brought smiles and relief to the struggling mother.

The county lawmaker was accompanied by Kyangwithya East MCA Boniface Maundu Katumbi, Hon. Kasinga (Mumoni Ward MCA), Munira Mohamed, and Charity Mwangangi during the visit. The team emphasized the importance of community solidarity and compassion in uplifting the lives of the vulnerable.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Charity reaffirmed her foundation’s dedication to supporting marginalized and less fortunate individuals across Kitui County.
“The Charity Musyoka Foundation remains committed to walking with the vulnerable in our society, ensuring that no one is left behind regardless of their circumstances,” she said.
