Union of Kenya Civil Servants – Kitui Branch Elects New Officials

The Kitui branches of the Union of Kenya Civil Servants (UKCS) on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, elected new office bearers to steer the union’s affairs for the upcoming term.

The elections ushered in the following officials:

Kennedy Kamwilwa – Branch Chairman

Geoffrey Kimoro – Branch Secretary

Stanley Kimolo – Branch Treasurer

Mutunga Lonzi – Vice Chairman

John Nzau Munyoki – Vice Secretary

Joel Mwati – Vice Treasurer

Fredinah Kyambi – Women Leader

Rose Kanini Guyo – Young Workers Representative

The newly elected team is expected to champion the welfare of civil servants in Kitui, strengthen labour representation, and enhance engagement on matters affecting members within both county and national government structures.

The polls were conducted in accordance with the union’s constitution and form part of the broader nationwide branch elections taking place across the country.
